To the director of Californication: You've got a great show going, I'm really enjoying it. It's quite smartly written, well acted, and stylish without being whorish. Just one thing - drop the whole quick zoom camera trick that you picked up at the end of the latest (3rd) episode. It really cheapens the overall effect of the show and takes you out of the scene. Don't get fancy, you've got a lot of meat and potatoes to work with that you don't need to dress it up with lipstick and French perfume.
